The Big Four

Back to back posts!!!! I know,,, I may be defeating the purpose of not writing on the creations themselves… hahahahahahahahah

Sapphire Faceted Rondelles with Silver Necklace

This is the first piece I have ever made that is strictly made of rondelles of one single stone. Usually I will add some kind of accent beads to the main stone. And I had never just used rondelles. I like it so much that I will be doing it again!

It is secured by a Silver plated, lobster clasp. This necklace is one sure way of getting all the wonderful properties of Sapphires!

The Sapphire is the birthstone for the month of November. Most of us recognize Sapphire as blue, but it actually can be found in every color, except red. There is an orange version of this stone called Padparadscha. It is very rare and beautiful!

Sapphires have been treasured for centuries by the Nobility and to this day! Prince Charles gave Lady Di a Sapphire ring as her engagement ring! Also, Sapphires have been worn by Kings and Queens as protection from envy and ill wishes. The Clergy has also worn Sapphires because they symbolized Heaven.

The stone symbolizes trust, repentance, and wisdom, among other things. It is said to bring about serenity so it is a great stone for those looking for sobriety.

Sapphires will connect you to the Universe by opening your inner self.

Labradorite Necklace

I have always had an affinity to Labradorite. Perhaps it is the beautiful and mesmerizing flecks of color. These flecks make this one of the more enticing and beautiful semi-Faceted Rondelles with Silver Necklace by Tesoros, gemprecious gems.

Or, maybe it is the effect it can have on a person’s Love life. It is said that the gem will help you express your feelings and love with an open heart! Another one of Labradorite’s abilities is to enhance our intuition and sixth sense. So, it facilitates communication between the subconscious and conscious mind. It also uplifts our vibrations when we feel insecure. This is the perfect way to wear your Labradorite. Wear it to a job interview to feel secure and well balanced as it also helps ground your Spiritual energies.

Red Rubies Necklace

The Ruby has always been a symbol for passion, but there is so much more to this stone. First of all it is one of the four precious stones along with Sapphire, Emerald, and the Diamond. It was and is still a stone of nobility.

Spiritually, the Ruby will connect your Energy to that of the Earth. It will also ground you and help with stress. Metaphysically, it will increase your desire to enjoy all that life has to offer and indulge your senses.

Thirdly, the Ruby will stimulate the base Chakra and increase your motivation. It will energize you and make you feel as if anything is possible. It certainly is a fiery stone!

Emeralds Necklace

The Emerald is the birthstone for the month of May and the gem of the twentieth and thirty-fifth wedding anniversaries.

Emeralds feature emotional and spiritual balance. These stones increase energy levels in the body’s organs. Emeralds have been attributed many benefits such as creativity Faceted Rondelles with Silver Necklace by Tesoros, gemand a better understanding of life. It is also said to better communication skills. Because of this attribute, many believe that it helps with speech difficulties and impairments as well as persons who are shy and could use a boost in confidence.

Legend has it that Royalty would drink from Emerald-based glasses because Emeralds could help counteract the effects of poison. Hard to be a Royal….

There you have them! The Big Four! I think Labradorite makes for a great Diamond substitute, and I actually prefer them over Diamonds. Don’t get me wrong, Diamonds are extraordinary gems! I’m just a simple girl.

And, here is the piece, or shall I say pieces because doing one led me to doing the other three!

I love this post, these are probably some of the most often used stones, I only say probably because I’m not much of a jewelry person so I couldn’t say for sure. The information you provide is very helpful for those of us trying to buy something nice and meaningful without overloading us with too much information. Keep going with the posts!
