Hello,
Today I’m moving from my usual posts to something totally different.
A few months ago, I came across a site called Art Elements. I found it through Pinterest. It is a super cool blog, so I decided to follow it and I subscribed.
One of the things I liked, besides the cool ideas, is their challenges.
I had tried once before, but life happens and I couldn’t. Finally, this month, I couldn’t pass it up.
Art Elements is hosting a Sunflower blog hop challenge and today is the reveal. Participants agreed to create jewelry or other art forms with a sunflower theme. I love these flowers so I thought I’d give it a try.
I still had a ton of things that got in the way, so my submission is small compared to the other participants. And, there were a lot of things I had to add that I wound up doing last minute. I’m actually doing this on my phone! At least I will be better prepared for next time!
Anyway, here it is:

Here is a list of the other participants!

Glad you found us and can join us this month! Your sunflower is vibrant and fun! Look forward to seeing you in future months as well!
Thank you! And yes, I plan to do others!!!!
Your sunflower is lovely and I also could imagine that it would work wonderfully as a garden ornament – maybe with some glass beads added to capture the sunlight
Thanks Claire! You are right. Maybe I can create some wind chimes!
I love wire sculpture pieces and yours is fabulous
That is what I seem to be focusing on more and more.
Thank you!
Very nice use of a spiral! And the two colors of wire really set off the petals. Good Job for your first participation and limited schedule.
Thanks Alysen! It is a small contribution but next time I will make more time and create a more informative post. I had no idea how much work goes into your hops!
This is very and would look wonderful suspended from some leather, as a necklace!
It is very… it will go on leather for sure!
Thanks!
Well I agree with what everyone else said – I think it’s very pretty and could be a pendant on it’s own, and definitely like the contrast between the wires! Thanks so much for joining us this time, I hope you do more!
Thanks so much! Yes I plan to, now I’m prepared, lol
Susan, your etsy is coming up as a broken link, thought you should know.
Clever use of wire Norma and I really like the organic feel to the pendant
Thank you Lesley!
Lovely design, that would look fabulous hanging in the sunshine!
Hmmm. I like that!
Awesome pendant – it could be a sunflower, or the sun itself! I love it.
You’re right, I see it!
Thanks!
what a charming pendent, i like the contrast between the copper and the gold wire.
I love wire,Niky!
Thanks!
